The United Kingdom left the European Union on 31 January 2020 and following the end of the Brexit transition period on 31 December 2020, has now entered into a new Trade and Cooperation Agreement (TCA) with the EU, which came into force on 1 January 2021.
All of the four EU Freedoms (free movement of persons, free movement of goods, free movement of capital and freedom to establish and provide services) have been impacted.
At FidLaw, our experienced multi-disciplinary UK and Foreign lawyers are UK and EU dual-qualified therefore can advise on cross-border transactions without any of the restrictions brought in by the TCA with regard to the legal services and will be happy to assist in identifying, reviewing and assessing all of the practical implications affecting your life and business.
