The United Kingdom left the European Union on 31 January 2020 and following the end of the Brexit transition period on 31 December 2020, has now entered into a new Trade and Cooperation Agreement (TCA) with the EU, which came into force on 1 January 2021.
All of the four EU Freedoms (free movement of persons, free movement of goods, free movement of capital and freedom to establish and provide services) have been impacted.
