Jayne was previously Head of Employment at a regional firm and has specialised in Employment Law for over 20 years.
She advises clients on all aspects of UK Employment law from drafting bespoke employment contracts and Directors’ Service Agreements, to bringing and defending claims in the Employment Tribunals and Courts. 

Jayne adopts a proactive approach to employment law and believes that for her commercial clients, the best protection is given by providing carefully drafted, bespoke policies and procedures, which guide the employer through the minefield of its employment law obligations.   

Where employer/employee relationships are strained, it can often be useful to negotiate the parting of the ways using the protection of a Settlement Agreement rather than assuming that litigation is the only option.  Jayne regularly drafts appropriate Settlement Agreement terms for her commercial clients which will protect their interests going forwards.  She also advises employees on Settlement Agreements they have been offered.
